epic road trip

the day i graduate from college, i will pack all my things into my car and drive far, far away from campus.

not to the other side of the state.

mario kart wii has officially become a competitive sport.


last week, i proposed a nice challenge to charles, since we pretty much always play mario kart whenever he's at my house. to make things more interesting, we added a little bit of extra motivation..

quarters.

the rules
- each race will be a dual match, including 10 computers (12 total)
- each place difference will result in a winning of 25 cents (or another amount by agreement of both competitors)
- the difference in places between the winner and the loser will be multiplied to the cost of each place
- the challenge ends only by agreement of each competitor

now admittedly, charles is better than i am. i lose the majority of the time. i pretty much always get second. which means i should never manage a football team because i never get my quarter back. (see what i did there?)

but here i am, 5 dollars down in mario kart losses, still standing strong. one day, those 5 dollars will be mine again..
